What is Bio CNG?

Image
Bio-CNG (Compressed Bio Gas) is a renewable form of compressed natural gas produced from organic waste materials.  It is created through the process of anaerobic digestion, where microorganisms break down organic matter, such as agricultural waste, animal manure, food waste, and sewage sludge, in the absence of oxygen to produce biogas. This biogas is then purified to remove impurities like carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, and moisture, leaving behind high-quality methane, which is compressed to produce Bio-CNG. Key Features of Bio-CNG: Renewable Source : Unlike conventional CNG derived from fossil natural gas, Bio-CNG is made from organic waste, making it a sustainable and eco-friendly fuel. High Methane Content : Bio-CNG is typically composed of 90-95% methane, similar in quality to natural gas, making it suitable for use in vehicles and industrial applications. Cleaner Energy : Bio-CNG emits significantly lower carbon dioxide (CO2) and other harmful pollutants than dies...
